Bouchon Bakery started as the bread supplier for The French Laundry and became a destination on its own. Croissants, macarons, TKOs, Nutter Butters and the épi baguette are sold over the counter with no reservation and no ceremony.

The laminated pastries are the benchmark — plain croissant, pain au chocolat, kouign-amann when available. The house versions of American classics (the TKO chocolate sandwich cookie, the Nutter Butter) are the souvenirs people carry home.
Bread is baked for the group's restaurants as well as the counter, which is why the baguettes sell out early in the day.
Yountville is the original, a few doors from Bouchon Bistro. Additional counters operate in New York and Las Vegas. Mornings before ten are calm; the mid-morning queue in Yountville regularly runs out the door in high season.
