The practical question nobody researches until the afternoon of the reservation: where the car goes, and how you get back to the hotel afterwards.

Complimentary valet is offered to dining guests at the corner of Washington Street. Arriving five minutes before your booking is enough; arriving thirty minutes early creates a queue in a very small village.
Hand the keys over and walk in. There is no separate car park to find and no ticket machine involved.
Washington Street and the side roads around it offer free public parking, and in the evening it is usually available within a short walk. It is unmetered and unenforced in the way city parking is not.
If you are staying in the village, leaving the car at the hotel and walking is almost always the better plan — most of Yountville is within ten minutes on foot.
Allow ninety minutes to two hours from the city, more on Friday afternoons. The route runs over the bridge and up Highway 29 through Napa, and the last stretch through wine country is slow by design.
Leave a buffer. Arriving late to a prepaid, sequenced menu costs you courses, not just minutes.
A wine-paired nine-course dinner is not compatible with driving afterwards. Plan this before you book, not at the end of the meal.
The reliable options are staying within walking distance in Yountville, arranging a car service in advance, or nominating a driver who takes the non-alcoholic pairing — which the restaurant does properly rather than grudgingly.
Rideshare works in Napa Valley but is materially less dependable than in a city, particularly after 10pm and particularly out of the smaller villages. Waits of twenty to forty minutes are common.
If you intend to rely on it, check availability earlier in the evening and be prepared to fall back on a pre-booked car.
Drop-off directly outside the entrance is straightforward, and the restaurant can be advised in advance if a guest needs step-free access or extra time.
Mention mobility requirements at booking. The building is historic, and knowing in advance lets the team seat you appropriately.
