For all guests, think of it as the standard you would apply to a milestone dinner: tailoring, a dress, or smart separates, with shoes to match.
Valley evenings cool sharply after sunset even in summer, so the jacket is a comfort as much as a requirement, and a wrap is sensible for the courtyard.
Meals run three to four hours. Choose shoes and a waistband you can sit in comfortably for that long — this is not a trivial consideration over nine courses.
